LET US CONTINUE THE WORK, TOGETHER!

Dorothy Day once said, “What we would like to do is change the world, to make it easier for people to feed, clothe and shelter themselves as God intended them to do. And we can change the world. We can work for the oasis, the little cell of joy and peace in a harried world. We can throw our pebble into the pond and be confident that its ever-widening circle will reach around the world.”

huithiang! is a humble effort at touching lives around the world, for the better.

We hope to be an instrument of love, joy, happiness, goodness and the love and zeal for life as we reach out to tens of thousands of people in over 135 countries across the world every month through our blog posts, Facebook pages and Twitter posts. In all that we do, we humbly seek to glorify God and usher in change into the collapsed state of human affairs. With no budget, and volunteer support in the form of my daughter Nadine, we strive to provide hope and inspiration, and a renewed sense of purpose and direction in life. We have come to realize, one step at a time that this is a worthy pursuit, and have resulted in many drawing closer to the Lord.

We are grateful for the many of you who have walked with us since the beginning and for those of you who have joined us along the way by way of returning again and again, and again to our blog and also to our Facebook and Twitter accounts for daily inspiration. All of us here (two, to be specific) are ordinary people, joining small hands, as it is, to create a regular shot of inspiration so that someone, somewhere may be inspired.

We are committed to continuing this work – together – and invite you to join us. We want to make our blog and other sites more useful, which can be realized if friends pool in their resources. While our commitment to this cause in unwavering, our resources are lacking for the many hours of time spent poring over hundreds of web pages and the printed book for inspirational materials.
