EIGHT FRIENDSHIP GIFTS

Source: Unknown
THE GIFT OF LISTENING...
But you must REALLY listen. No interrupting, no daydreaming, no planning your response. Just listening.

THE GIFT OF AFFECTION...
Be generous with appropriate hugs, kisses, pats on the back and handholds. Let these small actions demonstrate the love you have for family and friends.

THE GIFT OF LAUGHTER...
Clip cartoons. Share articles and funny stories. Your gift will say, "I love to laugh with you."

THE GIFT OF A WRITTEN NOTE...
It can be a simple "Thanks for the help" note or a full sonnet. A brief, handwritten note may be remembered for a lifetime, and may even change a life.

THE GIFT OF A COMPLIMENT...
A simple and sincere, "You look great in red," "You did a super job" or "That was a wonderful meal" can make someone's day.

THE GIFT OF A FAVOR...
Every day, go out of your way to do something kind.

THE GIFT OF SOLITUDE...
There are times when we want nothing better than to be left alone. Be sensitive to those times and give the gift of solitude to others.

THE GIFT OF A CHEERFUL DISPOSITION...
The easiest way to feel good is to extend a kind word to someone, really it's not that hard to say, Hello or Thank You.

Friends are a very rare jewel, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share a word of praise, and they always want to open their hearts to us.

WE REAP WHAT WE SOW

Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem.
And we said an expert should know what he's talking about, so we won't spank them anymore…

Then someone said teachers and principals better not discipline our children when they misbehave. And the school administrators said no faculty member in this school better touch a student when they misbehave because we don't want any bad publicity, and we surely don't want to be sued. And we accepted their reasoning…

Then someone said let's let our daughters have abortions if they want, and they won't even have to tell their parents. And we said, that's a grand idea…

Then some wise school board member said since boys will be boys and they're going to do it anyway, let's give our sons all the condoms they want, so they can have all the fun they desire, and we won't have to tell their parents they got them at school.
And we said, that's another great idea…

Then some of our top elected officials said it doesn't matter what we do in private as long as we do our jobs. And agreeing with them, we said it doesn't matter to me what anyone, including the President, does in private as long as I have a job and the economy is good…

And then someone said let's print magazines with pictures of nude women and call it wholesome down-to-earth appreciation for the beauty of the female body.
And we said we have no problem with that…

And someone else took that appreciation a step further and published pictures of children and then stepped further still by making them available on the Internet.
And we said they're entitled to their free speech…

And the entertainment industry said, let's make TV shows and movies that promote profanity, violence, and illicit sex. And let's record music that encourages rape, drugs, murder, suicide, and satanic themes.
And we said it's just entertainment, it has no adverse effect, and nobody takes it seriously anyway, so go right ahead…

Therefore, now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves…

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with..."We reap what we sow!"

HANDLE WITH CARE

Part I

Some people use their Bibles as repositories for all manner of things. Many women keep dead flowers in them. Do you suppose it is because they know that those precious flowers will not be disturbed in that Book, and that they will be safe there from damage? Let them find books of philosophy and therein keep their flowers. But let every Bible be so heavily used that nothing is safe in it except its reader’s heart and
mind.

Some people like the soft feel of a genuine leather binding, and will use their Bibles as coasters for their Sunday afternoon beers, or sit an ashtray upon them because the textured surface keeps it from slipping and sliding around. Others display them proudly on their coffee tables, so that their friends and neighbors will know that they are reverent, but then they will scream at their children for touching them.

Many Bibles are so overstuffed with papers and cards and old church bulletins and notes and the occasional pencil, with pictures of the grandkids and newspaper clippings, funeral and wedding announcements, that you just know those people couldn’t possibly be actually sitting down and reading those books.

More often than not, Bibles are found at the bottoms of stacks of other books. Far too often does the preacher hear, “Well, I know it’s around here somewhere…” Every Christian should know, not where his Bible is, but where his Bibles are.

Part II

Occasionally you walk into someone’s home and you see a well-cared for Bible, yet it is so worn from heavy use that the color of its cover has faded. Raw leather shows at the corners, yet its pages are neither torn nor wrinkled.

If you should walk into someone’s home and see such a Bible, pick it up and open it — carefully, please. In it you will find many notes, written in small letters so that there is room for more. You will find whole passages marked, rather than the single verses that we’ve all been taught to memorize in our youth. You will never find anything else lying atop that Bible, except perhaps a pair of glasses.

Now, that person will not have the distracted look of a harried person, but the peaceful gaze of a contented soul. There will be joy in his or her eyes that fairly sparkles with vibrant electricity. The merest glance will tell you that here is a person at peace with himself and at peace with the world. Most of all, at peace with God.

Imagine, just a single glance at a well-worn Bible will establish in your heart a connection with that person faster than any other thing.

Let your Bibles become the most highly-prized treasures in your home. Let them be treated with the careful attention that the Word of God deserves. Handle them with great care, but handle them often.

GOD WON'T ASK....

What kind of car you drove, but will ask how many people you drove who didn’t have transportation.

The square footage of your house, but will ask how many people you welcomed into your home.

How many fancy clothes you had in your closet, but will ask how many of those clothes helped the needy.

About your social status, but will ask what kind of class you displayed.

How many material possessions you had, but will ask if they dictated your life.

What your highest salary was, but will ask if you compromised your character to obtain that salary.

How much overtime you worked, but will ask if you worked overtime for your family and loved ones.

How many promotions you received, but will ask how you promoted others.

What your job title was, but will ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability.

What you did to help yourself, but will ask what you did to help others.

How many friends you had, but will ask how many people to whom you were a true friend.

What you did to protect your rights, but will ask what you did to protect the rights of others.

In what neighborhood you lived, but will ask how you treated your neighbors.

About the color of your skin, but will ask about the content of your character.

How many times your deeds matched your words, but will ask how many times they didn’t.

When there is nothing left but God, that is when you find out that God is all you need.

I AM A SOLDIER

I am a soldier in the Army of my God.
The Lord Jesus Christ is my Commander-in-Chief.
My church leaders are my superior officers.
The Holy Bible is my code of conduct.
Faith, prayer, and the Word are my weapons of warfare.

I have been taught by the Holy Spirit,
Trained by experience,
Tried by adversity
And tested by fire.

I am a volunteer in this Army,
And I am enlisted for Eternity.
I will either retire in this Army at the Rapture
Or die doing my duty to this Army;

But I will not get out,
Sell out,
Be talked out,
Or pushed out.
By the grace of God,
I am faithful,
Reliable,
Capable
And dependable.

If my God commands me,
I am there.
If He needs me in the Sunday School,
To teach the children,
Work with the youth,
Help adults
Or just sit and learn,
He can use me
Because I am there!
I am a soldier.
I am not a baby.
I do not need to be pampered,
Petted,
Primed up,
Pumped up,
Picked up
Or pepped up.
I am a soldier.
No one has to phone me,
Remind me,
Write me,
Visit me,
Entice me,
Or lure me.
I am a soldier.

I am not a wimp.
I am in place,
Saluting my King,
Obeying my orders,
Praising His name,
And doing battle for His kingdom!
No one has to send me flowers,
Gifts, food,
Cards, candy
Or give me handouts.
I do not need to be cuddled,
Cradled,
Or catered to.
I am committed.

I cannot have my feelings hurt
Bad enough to turn me around.
I cannot be discouraged enough
To turn me aside.
I cannot lose enough
To cause me to quit.

When Jesus called me into His Army,
I had nothing spiritually.
If I end up with nothing physically,
I will still come out ahead.
I will win.

My God has and will continue
To supply all of my needs.
I am more than a conqueror.
I will triumph ultimately.
I can do all things through Christ.

The devil cannot defeat me.
People cannot disillusion me.
Weather cannot weary me.
Sickness cannot discourage me.
Money cannot buy me.
Governments cannot silence me
And Hell cannot handle me.
I am a soldier.

Even death cannot destroy me.
For when my Commander
Calls me from this battlefield,
He will promote me to Captain
And then allow me to rule with Him.
I am a soldier in the Army,
And I'm marching, claiming victory.

I will not give up.
I will not look back.
I am a soldier,
Marching Heaven bound.
Here I stand!
Will you stand with me?

Will you enlist by trusting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?
If you already have, be sure you are reporting to your Commander with a:
"Here am I, send me, Sir!"

HOPE!

The well-known maxim, "While there is life there is hope," has a deeper meaning in reverse:  "While there is hope there is life."

Hope comes first, life follows.  Hope gives power to life.  Hope rouses life to continue, to expand, to grow, to reach out, to go on.

Hope sees a light where there isn't any.

Hope lights candles in millions of despairing hearts.

Hope is the miracle medicine of the mind.  It inspires the will to live.  Hope is the physician's strongest ally.

Hope is our shield and buckler against defeat.

"Hope," wrote Alexander Pope, "springs eternal in the human breast."  And as long as it does we will triumph and move forward.

Hope never sounds retreat.  Hope keeps the banners flying.

Hope revives ideals, renews dreams, revitalizes visions.

Hope scales the peak, wrestles with the impossible, achieves the highest aim.

"The word which God has written on the brow of every person," wrote Victor Hugo, "is Hope."  As long as we have hope no situation is hopeless.

WHAT IS YOUR WORST ENEMY?

Your words, your dreams, and your thoughts have power to create conditions in your life.
What you speak about, you can bring about.

If you keep saying you can't stand your job, you might lose your job.
If you keep saying you can't stand your body, your body can become sick.
If you keep saying you can't stand your car, your car could be stolen or just stop operating.
If you keep saying you're broke, guess what? You'll always be broke.
If you keep saying you can't trust a man or trust a woman, you will always find someone in your life to hurt and betray you.
If you keep saying you can't find a job, you will remain unemployed.
If you keep saying you can't find someone to love you or believe in you, your very thought will attract more experiences to confirm your beliefs.
If you keep talking about a divorce or break up in a relationship, then you might end up with it.

Turn your thoughts and conversations around to be more positive and power packed with faith, hope, love and action.

Don't be afraid to believe that you can have what you want and deserve.

Watch your thoughts, they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.

The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settle for.

Watch how your circumstances and situations begin to change when you change the way you speak.

THE PURPOSE BEHIND EVERY INCIDENT

Behind every happening, there is a reason and purpose.
Things we do not understand,
Are for our good in the greater plan of the Master Designer.
For we see in parts, but He sees the whole picture.

As you might remember, the head of a company survived 9/11
Because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was
His turn to bring donuts.

One woman was late because her
Alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike
Because of an auto accident.

One of them
Missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take
Time to change.

One's
Car wouldn't start.

One couldn't
Get a taxi.

The one that struck me was the man
Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work
But before he got there, he developed
A blister on his foot.
He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.
That is why he is alive today..

Now when I am
Stuck in traffic,
Miss an elevator,
Turn back to answer a ringing telephone...

All the little things that annoy me.
I think to myself,
This is exactly where
God wants me to be
At this very moment..

Next time your morning seems to be
Going wrong,
The children are slow getting dressed,
You can't seem to find the car keys,
You hit every traffic light,
Don't get mad or frustrated;
It May be just that
God is at work watching over you.

May God continue to bless you
With all those annoying little things
And may you remember their possible purpose.

THE POWER OF A HUG

It has been proved that showing affection strengthens growth and positive development in people.

We all need physical contact to feel good, and one of the most important ways of physical contact between two people is hugging.

Who does not need cuddles in this society that is becoming ever colder, more competitive, that compels us to be more individualistic, more personal-oriented goal?

When we hug, we receive an energy feedback. We bring life to our senses and reaffirm the trust in our senses.

Sometimes we cannot find the right words to express how we feel, and then hugs are the best way to say it.

We need four hugs a day to survive, eight to preserve ourselves, and twelve to grow.

A hug makes you feel good. The skin is the biggest organ we have and it needs a lot of love. A hug can cover an extensive part of the skin and provides the massage you need. It is also a way to communicate. It can convey messages for which you have no words.
We can always resort to the universal language of hugs.

The Power of Hugs...

Hugging achieves many things that you might never have imagined. For example:
It feels good
It dissolves solitude
It defeats fear
It opens the door to sensations
It improves self-esteem (wow, he or she wants to hug me!)
It encourages altruism (I can't believe it, but I want to hug that person)
It delays aging (those who hug age more slowly)
It helps reduce appetite (we eat less when we are nourished with hugs and when our arms are wrapped around others)

More benefits from hugs:

It is environmentally friendly (it does not damage the environment)
It preserves energy
It is portable and requires no additional machinery
It does not require a special place to do it (an adequate place to hug)
In any place such as a conference room, a church or a football field
It makes happy days even happier
It gives us a sense of belonging
It fills the void in our lives
It is still effective even after the hugging has finished
It strengthens and increases our ability to share
It harmonizes the hearts of friends
Hugging creates some form of addiction to tenderness, to altruism, to happiness...

Just as laughter, it is highly contagious! Whatever your hug may be, let it always come from the heart, not from the mind.

Come up with new ways of hugging.
Give your hugs interesting or funny names.
Become a full-time "hug therapist."
Be always ready to offer a hug to someone.

Observe the other person and always be careful of his or her personal space.
Do not try to impose your vision or philosophy on others.

A hug does and says very much.

WHEN WE SHARE

When we share laughter,
There's twice the fun;
When we share success,
We've surpassed what we've done.

When we share problems,
There's half the pain;
When we share tears,
A rainbow follows rain.

When we share dreams,
They become more real;
When we share secrets,
It's our hearts we reveal.

If we share a smile,
That's when our love shows;
If we share a hug,
That's when our love grows.

If we share with someone
On whom we depend,
That person is always
Family or friend.

And what draws us closer
And makes us all care,
Is not what we have,
But the things we share

Let's share every moments of life!

....READ ONLY IF YOU'VE TIME

Let me tell you, make sure you read all the way to the bottom. I almost deleted this email but I was blessed when I got to the end.

God, when I received this e-mail, I thought...

I don't have time for this...
And, this is really inappropriate during work.

Then, I realized that this kind of thinking is...
Exactly, what has caused lot of the problems in our world today.

We try to keep God in church on Sunday morning...

Maybe, Sunday night...
And, the unlikely event of a midweek service.
We do like to have Him around during sickness...

And, of course, at funerals.

However, we don't have time, or room, for Him during work or play...

Because…
That's the part of our lives we think...
We can, and should, handle on our own.

May God forgive me for ever thinking...
that...
There is a time or place where…

He is NOT to be FIRST in my life.

We should always have time to remember all HE has done for us.
And make Him Lord over all in our life.

AN INTERVIEW WITH GOD

Come in", God said, "so, you would like to interview Me?"
"If you have the time," I said.

God smiled and said: "My time is eternity, and is enough to do everything. What questions do you have in mind to ask me?"

"What surprises you most about mankind?"

God answered:
  • That they get bored of being children, are in a rush to grow up, and then long to be children again.
  • That they lose their health to make money and then lose their money to restore their health.
  • That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live neither for the present nor the future.
  • That they live as if they will never die, and they die as if they had never lived...
God's hands took mine and we were silent for while, and then I asked..."As a parent, what are some of life's lessons you want your children to learn?"
God replied with a smile:
  • To learn that they cannot make anyone love them. What they can do is to let themselves be loved.
  • To learn that what is most valuable is not what they have in their lives, but who they have in their lives.
  • To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others. All will be judged individually on their own merits, not as a group on a comparison basis!
  • To learn that a rich person is not the one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.
  • To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in persons we love, and that it takes many years to heal them.
  • To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness.
  • To learn that there are persons that love them dearly, but simply do not know how to express or show their feelings.
  • To learn that money can buy everything but happiness.
  • To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it totally different.
  • To learn that a true friend is someone who knows everything about them... and likes them anyway.
  • To learn that it is not always enough that they be forgiven by others, but that they have to forgive themselves.
I sat there for awhile enjoying the moment. I thanked Him for his time and for all that He has done for me and my family, and He replied, "Anytime. I'm here 24 hours a day. All you have to do is ask for me, and I'll answer."

People will forget what you said.
People will forget what you did.
But, people will never forget how you made them feel.

NO REGRETS!

If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for just one more.

If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute or two to stop and say "I love you,"
Instead of assuming you would know I do.

If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day,
Well, I'm sure you'll have so many more, I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight,
And we always get a second chance to make everything right.

There will always be another day to say our "I love you's,"
And certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do's?"

But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget,

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike,
Today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day,

That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss,
Too busy to grant someone what turned out to be their last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today, whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them and that you'll always hold them dear.

Take time to say "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," "Thank you" or "It's okay".
And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.

EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there…to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become.

You never know who these people may be but, when you lock eyes with them, you know that every moment they will affect your life in some profound way.

And sometimes things happen to you at the time that may seem horrible, painful and unfair but, upon reflection, you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, will power or heart.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Illness, Injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the  limits of your soul.

Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. Safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless. The people you meet affect  your life. The successes and downfalls that you experience can create who you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones.

If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them because they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart to. If someone loves you, love them back, unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and open your heart and eyes to little things.

Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people whom you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high.

Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you.

You can make anything you wish of your life. Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets.

And if you love someone tell them, for you never know what tomorrow may have in store.

Learn a lesson in life each day that you live! Today is the tomorrow you were worried about yesterday. Was it worth it?

THE DEVIL'S BEATITUDES

If the devil were to write his beatitudes, they would probably go something like this:
  1. Blessed are those who are too tired, too busy, too distracted to spend an hour once a week with their fellow Christians - they are my best workers.

  2. Blessed are those Christians who wait to be asked and expect to be thanked - I can use them.

  3. Blessed are those who seek worldly pleasures instead of seeking the will of God - they are my missionaries.

  4. Blessed are the trouble makers - they shall be called my children.

  5. Blessed are those who murmur and complain and have no joy they really make my work easy.

  6. Blessed are those who are focused on the minister's mannerisms and mistakes - for they get nothing out of his sermons.

  7. Blessed is the church member who expects to be invited to his own church - for he is a part of the problem instead of the solution.

  8. Blessed are those who gossip - for they shall cause strife and divisions that please me.

  9. Blessed are those who are easily offended - for they will soon get angry and quit.

  10. Blessed are those who do not give their tithes or offering to carry on God's work but will spend it selfishly on themselves - for they are MY helpers.

  11. Blessed is he who professes to love God but hates his brother and sister - for he shall be with me forever.

GOD IS IN CONTROL

God is Lord Almighty, Omnipotent King, Lion of Judah, Rock of Ages, Prince of Peace, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Provider, Protector, Paternal Leader, Ruling Lord and Reigning King of all the universe.

He is Father, Helper, Guardian and God. He is the First and Last, the Beginning and the End. He is the keeper of Creation and the Creator of all He keeps. The Architect of the universe and the Manager of all times.

He always was, is, and will be: Unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone. He was bruised and brought healing. He was pierced and eased pain. He was persecuted and brought freedom. He was dead and brought life. He is risen and brings power. He reigns and brings peace. The world can't understand him, the armies can't defeat Him, the schools can't explain Him, and the leaders can't ignore Him. Herod couldn't kill Him, the Pharisees couldn't confuse Him, the people couldn't hold Him! Nero couldn't crush Him. Hitler couldn't silence Him, the New Age can't replace Him and Donahue can't explain Him away!

He is light, love, longevity, and Lord. He is goodness, kindness, gentleness, and God. He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure. His ways are right, His word is eternal, His will is unchanging, and His mind is on me! His is my redeemer, He is my saviour, He is my guide, He is my peace, He is my Joy, He is my comfort, He is my Lord and He rules my life.

I serve Him because His bond is love, His burden is light, and His goal for me is abundant life. I follow Him because He is the wisdom of the wise, the power of the powerful, the ancient of days, the ruler of rulers, the leader of leaders, the overseer of the overcomers, and the sovereign Lord of all that was, is and is to come.

And if that seems impressive to you, try this for size. His goal is a relationship with ME! He will never leave me, forsake me, mislead me, forget me, overlook me, and never cancel my appointment in His appointment book!

When I fall, He lifts me up. When I fail, He forgives me. When I am weak, He is strong. When I am lost, He is The Way. When I am afraid, He is my courage. When I stumble, He steadies me. When I am hurt, He heals me. When I am broken, He mends me. When I am blind, He leads me. When I am hungry, He feeds me. When I face trials, He is with me When I face persecution, He stills me. When I face problems, He comforts me. When I face loss, He provides for me. When I face Death, He carries me Home!

He is everything for everybody, everywhere, every time, and in every way. He is God, He is faithful, I am His, and He is mine. My Father in heaven can whip the father of this world, and so, if you're wondering why I feel so secure, understand this: He said it, and that settles it.

God is in control, I am on His side, and that means all is well with my soul.

MAY YOU ALWAYS FEEL LOVED!

May you find serenity and tranquility in a world you may not always understand.

May the pain you have known and the conflict you have experienced give you the strength to walk through life facing each new situation with courage and optimism.

Always know that there are those whose love and understanding will always be there, even when you feel most alone.
May you discover enough goodness in others to believe in a world of peace.

May a kind word, a reassuring touch, a warm smile be yours every day of your life, and may you give these gifts as well as receive them.

Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending.

Teach love to those who know hate, and let that love embrace you as you go into the world.

May the teaching of those you admire become part of you, so that you may call upon them.

Remember, those whose lives you have touched and who have touched yours are always a part of you, even if the encounters were less than you would have wished. It is the content of the encounter that is more important than its form.

May you not become too concerned with material matters, but instead place immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart.

Find time in each day to see the beauty and love in the world around you.

Realize that each person has limitless abilities, but each of us is different in our own way.

What you may feel you lack in one regard may be more than compensated for in another. What you feel you lack in the present may become one of your strengths in the future.

May you see your future as one filled with promise and possibility.

Learn to view everything as a worthwhile experience.

May you find enough inner strength to determine your own worth by yourself, and not be dependent on another's judgments of your accomplishments.

May you always feel loved!
